Pumpkin Patch

Sunday, October 23, 2011 Posted by Dana J.
Last weekend we drove southwest to Chester, NJ to get pumpkins. The day was FREEZING!! Well, maybe not freezing, but it was pretty darn cold! The sun popped out a few times, but it mostly stayed kind of dark & windy.

They had a lot of cute things to do... petting zoo, hay tunnels & towers, corn kernel bins, pony rides, tracker rides, bounce houses, wagon rides, etc.

The farm was quite large & we had to be tractor driven to the pumpkin patch... a good 1/2 mile over & around a hill. They had lot's of fresh pick yourself produce - bell peppers, tomatoes, egg plants, squash, jalapenos & fruit... blackberries, currents, raspberries, apples etc.

This is Preston throwing a mini-temper tantrum... Soon after this, he ran away from me... all the way deep into some apple orchards - the kid NEEDS a nap everyday! This day, he didn't get one! ;)

Oh... that's him... taking off!! :)
