Pumpkin Patch + Fall night

Sunday, October 28, 2012 Posted by Dana J.
Well, we're preparing to be hit by Hurricane Sandy in the next few hours... And, although a LOT of surrounding areas get flooded, pretty severely.... we know we are not in a "flood zone". But, because we live near so many trees & all of the power lines are above ground, we hear that we may be losing power - anywhere from a couple days, to 7-10 (or so "they" say). So, the laundry is ALL done - we have 20 gallons of clean drinking water, flashlights, canned foods/snacks, propane for our BBQ & firewood + we moved most of our basement stuff upstairs & propped the furniture down there, up on bricks just in case we do get some water in the basement (we hear that is common)... Soooooo, we should be ok! :)

But, since I have been slacking, I figured I'd make a couple posts before POSSIBLY going "off-line" for awhile.

These pics were from the Pumpkin Patch, from a couple weekends ago & then our nice evening that followed...

The day started off a bit windy & cool... But ended up warmer & really nice!

Just hanging out in the front yard....
The trees all looked SO beautiful the past couple weeks!
