New York 2nd Full day (actually Day #3)

This day was another very busy, jammed-packed day! We started our morning off early by getting on the subway (this day was the only day we ever rode the subway - the other days we just walked EVERYWHERE). We got off the subway, about 15 blocks north of Ground Zero. We stopped by Ground Zero & looked at the progress of the new building that is going up, in place of the Twin Towers - it was weird to stand there & see all the pictures from 9-11. It felt sad.

After visiting Ground Zero, we walked to the Staten Island Ferry. We decided to jump on, so that we could see the Statue of Liberty a little bit better. We had a fun ride to Staten Island & back. Aubree LOVED it! Preston slept for most of it.

When we got off, Natalie met us & we went to another Burger place (we ate burgers every day for lunch, while in Manhattan). Then we walked to Wall Street. My pictures end there, because Garrick said enough pictures! :( He always wants me to enjoy the moment... I guess he just doesn't get that I enjoy it better, when I get to capture moments in time... to keep forever. Anyway... Our day didn't end there! After Wall Street we walked to China Town, then into Little Italy, then into The East Village, SoHo & then back home. It was a long day, but very nice! We ate lots of yummy goodies & had fun, I was glad to have Natalie there with us. By the way, in these pictures she was only about a week away from going into labor!
